Born in 1953. In 1970 into Chengdu five seven art school. Into Chengdu Sichuan Opera Theater in 1973, engaged in musical instruments and Sichuan Opera music creation and research. From 1985 to 1988, he studied masters degree in opera studies at China Art Research Institute. From 1988 to 1992, he worked for Beijing Institute of the Arts. From 1992 to 1994, she studied for a doctoral degree at the China Academy of Art. From 1994 to 2002, he worked in the Chinese Academy of Arts, and successively worked in the Academy of Drama, Graduate Department and Music Institute. Since 2002, he worked at Communication University of China (formerly Beijing Broadcasting Institute), researcher and doctoral supervisor.
