On November the 6th, 2015, Communication University of Chinese hosted the“2015 second session of the Music Industry Summit Forum ”at the new international communication center which is an important building at school .Serona Elton professor from the University of Miami attended the lecture as a special guest. SE presented a speech on the current situation of American music industry and the general condition of music education in university of Miami.Serona Elton is an associate professor and chair of the Department of Music Media & Industry at the University of Miami Frost School of Music.She served previously as a program director of music business and entertainment industries at UM Frost. Unquestionably, she is abundant in experience in music industry. In the speech,Professor Serona began from the history of Music Business Education, briefly narrating the effort music educators having made and the contribution the founding of MEIEA making to propaganda music business education.
