On July 1, 2014, the "Eleventh Recording Art Masterclass" organized by the School of Music and Recording Arts of Communication University of China was grandly opened in the lecture hall of 400 people at Communication University of China. The master recording class for three days, the world famous mixer designer, "Grammy Lifetime Technical Achievement Award" winner Rupert Neve will work with the domestic audio system engineering and design senior technical experts Chen Qinan, the Central People's Broadcasting Technology Recording Department Lin Qiangjun, a recording engineer, Zhu Wei, a professor at the School of Music and Recording Arts at Communication University of China, Chen Ziqian from Sennheiser Electronics (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and Feng Hanying from Beijing Zhen Li Audio Co., Ltd. Different from the previous recording master classes, this masterclass expands the category of recording art and recording technology. With the theme of audio equipment design and sound aesthetics, it presents new technologies for professional audiences With new ideas.
On the first day of Masterclass, Mr. Rupert Neve, founder and famous mixer designer of Rupert Neve Designs.LLC in the United States, gave wonderful lectures to audiences in Beijing on the far side of the ocean. Rupert Neve, the most influential legend in the professional audio industry for the past 100 years, has a pivotal position in the industry and is known as the "father of the console." Since Mr. Neve was nearly 90 years old and was unable to travel long distances, the School of Music and Recording Arts utilized network transmission technology to enable Mr. Neve to meet with the live audience through live live translations of professional teachers at the School of Music and Recording Arts. In order to ensure the quality of lectures, this master class also specially invited Mr. Joshua Stanberry Thomas, the current general manager of Rupert Neve Designs, to come to the venue to assist Mr. Neve's lecture. The Master Class of Recording Arts is one of the famous academic traditions and academic brands of the School of Music and Recording Arts of Communication University of China.
