On October 30, Zhang Xinya, an associate professor of the Department of Audio Art and Acoustics at Columbia College in Chicago, visited our School of Music and Recording Arts and held a wonderful lecture. Li Wei, executive vice president of the college, met with guests and participated in the exchange.

The theme of Associate Professor Zhang Xinya's lecture is "The Development of Psychoacoustics and Its Application in Music and Art," which covers the latest scientific achievements in this field. In the interactive session, teachers and students in our school raised a number of innovative issues. Associate Professor Zhang Xinya answered the questions one by one and exchanged views with teachers and students and gave professional suggestions.

Chicago Columbia College is the largest college of arts and media education in the Central United States. Its strengths include performing arts, art design, advertising art, audio art and acoustics, and dance. Columbia Institute of Chicago as a top art college in the United States has been high-profile. The college has officially joined the "International Alliance of Media and Higher Education," and our school has established a long-term relations of cooperation. Associate Professor Zhang Xinya is the Associate Director of the Office of International Affairs at Columbia College in Chicago, an associate professor of life at the Audio Arts and Acoustics department and the chairman of the Chicago Chapter of the American Acoustics Association.
