Students of the School of Music and Recording Arts have achieved great success in the international electronic music composition competition

The 8th MUSICACOTICA-BEIJING Beijing International Electronic Music Composition Contest organized by the Beijing International Electronic Music Festival Organizing Committee and the Chinese Musicians Association Electronic Music Society came to an end. As the most authoritative professional electronic music composition competition in China, the competition attracted students from all major institutions both at home and abroad to participate in the competition. A total of 137 entries were included in the Applied Electronic Music (Group C). After a fierce competition, the "Legend of Saskatchewan" created by our student Wang Xinqi won the third prize in Group C, and her other piece, "Orchids of Orchids," won the Excellence Award.
