The first Strait Seminar electronic music performances on both sides by the Chinese Musicians Association, Electronic Music Society, the Taiwan Computer Music Association, Xiamen Musicians Association, jointly organized held in Xiamen on August 17 to August 20. As the main activity of this seminar, there are nearly 100 works in the category of electronic music competition. The variety of works and styles are different, which fully demonstrates the enthusiasm and potential of the contestants' creation. Our school of Music and Recording Arts Academy students get excellent results in the competition, in which 09 students Yang Shuhan music editor (works "Kunshouyoudou") 09 electronic music production student Wang Xinqi (works "domain") won the first prize; 08 music spread students Li Sirui (work, "Zheng • fight"), 10 electronic music production student Wei (works "only") won the second prize; 09 student Liu Ruiqi electronic music production (works "longing") won the third prize. Work instructor Wang Xuan won the Outstanding Instructor Award, Communication University of China won the Outstanding Organization Award. In addition, during the event our students also listened to a number of cross-strait wonderful master lectures, including Hollywood, Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe for best sound production winner, senior sound engineer, international film giant system "Avatar" director the central figure in one of the production team Jim Tanenbaum lecture on "American film Avatar, sound design" concept; Taiwan famous songwriter, singer, record producer Huang Dajun lecture on Taiwanese music market and the music producer of reserve forces; famous Taiwan Music producer Ye Jiaxiu on music creation lecture; vice president of China Institute of electronic music Wu Yuebei hosted cross-strait electronic musician training seminars.
