Mr. Fan Zhang, president of Beijing MIDI Music School , gave a lecture in our university on 17th October, Mr. Fan Zhang who is the president of Beijing MIDI School of Music delivered a lecture with the topic that ‘How to hold a music festival successfully’ in Classroom A902 of No.48 Teaching Building, and shared his ideas with teachers, students and practitioners in the music industry.
During the lecture, Mr. Fan Zhang firstly introduced the overview of MIDI’s industry, including MIDI Music School, MIDI Show Company, MIDI Awards, MIDI National Instrumental Music Grading Test, and so on. After that, he shared his experiences of music festival in term of Band Management, approval for music festival and public affairs, infrastructures, exhibition of music festival, logistics management and other 10 important aspects. During the question-and-answer session, students asked questions actively, and Mr. Zhang Fan patiently answered these questions from students.
Our university will hold ‘2014 (Beijing) The First Music Industry Forum’ in 6th of November. It is believed that the series lectures of Media Music Industry which are given by many elites in this field to introduce the status quo of industrial development and share their experiences to students. This lecture, which was given by Mr. Fan Zhang, is the second lecture in the series lectures of Media Music Industry. There are many other celebrities in this industry will be invited to our university soon.
